Equatorial Guinea · Estimated Tuberculosis Incidence (WHO)

1992024

Unit: cases per 100,000 population per year. Publisher measure: Incidence of tuberculosis (per 100 000 population per year).

Estimated new and relapse tuberculosis cases arising during the reference year per 100,000 population. All forms of TB are included, including cases among people living with HIV. This is neither notified cases alone nor TB mortality.

Measurement basis: WHO consultative and analytical incidence estimates using case notifications, detection and reporting coverage, prevalence surveys and vital registration.

Reference-period cadence: annual.

Source update cadence: annual. This does not establish a publication date for an individual reading.

  • Estimated new and relapse TB cases per 100,000 population per year, including all forms and people living with HIV. This is not a raw count of notified cases or TB deaths.
  • Both source uncertainty endpoints and all 46 source-reported zeros are preserved. The capture does not establish an interval confidence level or official publication vintage.
  • Improved detection and notification can revise estimated incidence independently of changes in the underlying disease burden.

Displayed values are rounded, with extra precision when needed to keep a positive estimate positive. Downloads retain the full numeric estimate and the publisher's original display text separately.

A “<” sign means strictly below the stated number. Numeric readings and uncertainty endpoints keep their own comparison signs. A number without a sign does not establish certainty or an observed outcome.

One row per country, indicator and year, with raw values, source links and reuse notices. Thresholds have an empty numeric value and separate number/operator fields; value_kind distinguishes upper bounds from absent readings.

History and uncertainty

Charts plot numeric readings. Reported upper bounds create gaps; their values, uncertainty endpoints and source notes remain available in the table and downloads.

Reported estimates and uncertainty · 25 rows

Each comparison sign applies to its own reading or uncertainty endpoint. Values retain source precision. “Not reported” identifies an absent reading or uncertainty endpoint in this source capture.
